This hasn't exactly been a stellar blog week for me. I know.

If you can believe it, work has actually been keeping me busy. Well...ok. I also spent time I could have been posting working on my rankings for the Ice Draggies, my Fantasy Hockey team. Yeah, I know Ice Draggies is a stupid name. Fuck you. I like it. If it makes you feel any better, it's up against the "Screaming Mimis" and the "Jackson Jobbers." So, you know. It kinda fits the bill.

All day I've been meaning to talk about last night's Buffy on here, but now that I'm posting I've lost the urge. I don't know. Maybe it just isn't as much fun without someone to argue with. Or it could be that I've sated my urge when the Tekkie Guy From Downstairs came up to have the requisite Buffy chat.

The Tekkie Guy From Downstairs is very nice. He stops by to chat or drop news about the show, and he's very intellegent and we have nice conversations. Only, I don't know his name. I realized today that I actually feel pretty bad about this. He's so nice, and he know's my name. But I've been talking to him for probably a year now, so it seems kind of rude to say, "Hey Guy I Talk To Alot. I don't know your name."

I'm sort of dreading the weekend, for once. My little sis has an appointment with the Girly Bits Doctor on Friday. Guess who's taking her?

She's sixteen years old, and she's absolutely terrified. I remember being 18 and being terrified of my first visit- I can only imagine how she must feel.

Due to insurance reasons and the necessity of finding a female doctor, I'm taking her in Memphis. Which means that I'm going to take Alicia to the airport tomorrow night after work and then head over to my dad's. Hopefully the Lili storms won't hit us until after the appointment, because I am NOT driving around in Memphis trying to find some random Doctor's office in flooded streets with zero visibility. Done that, recently (except it was coming back from the Zoo and trying to find a restaurant- ANY restaurant), and it wasn't pleasant.

I also promised her we'd do something fun afterward - "Whatever you want to do, darlin'." I said this about a month ago before I realized I would be flat ass broke. When she is older, I will explain to her how I had to eat Ramen for a week so that I could take her for Chinese food and Laser Tag and she will know how much I love her. :)

I love Ryan's grandparents. So much.

There was a FedEx tag on the front door at lunch waiting to be signed and re-posted, which means the grandparents are sending their annual Halloween happy box a little early this year.

I love being nearly 24 years old and getting holiday boxes filled with cookies, candy, and random happies denoting the season. I never got that in college, because I went to school in my hometown (not that my mom baked cookies and brought them to me either. No slander against her or anything- she's just not that kind of mom).

Beware of rambling, babbling, sillyness, really long yet grammatically correct sentences, and occasional bouts of wisdom.
